About Our Pastors
Rev. Roxanna Hamaku

In June of 2002 Roxanna came to the Aloha
Metropolitan Community Church Pride
service.  Because of personal growth and a
recognition of her own sexual orientation, she
left UCC and became Associate Pastor of
Aloha MCC in July of that same year.  During
the coarse of her first year serving the church,
Roxanna became ordained, and was called
by the congregation as Co-Pastor in June
2003.  Her primary ministry remains in the
deaf community as well as with women who
are survivors of abuse.  On May 13, 2005,
Roxanna received her BA degree in
Psychology. She plans to continue toward her
MA, beginning with the Fall Semester, and it
is her strong desire to become ordained and
licensed by the Universal Fellowship of
Metropolitan Community Churches.  Her
ultimate goal is to pastor a deaf community as
a special ministry of UFMCC.
